He stood there fidgeting with his jacket and hands as his bride stood 20 feet behind him. She walked slowly from the Helen Mauck Galbreath Memorial Chapel steps, building the excitement until their eyes finally locked. Happiness washed over him the moment he turned around and saw his beautiful bride. He couldn’t stop smiling as he stared at the woman he was about to make his wife. The day might have been a chilly March day but their hearts were warm with love.

This was such a sweet wedding located at my alma mater, Ohio University. Josh is an old friend that I met while working as a lifeguard at Zoombezi Bay and then continued our friendship during our years at Ohio University. It was such a joy to meet the woman who was behind his happiness and be able to capture this important moment in their life. The day was full of smiles, laughter, lots of creative posing they came up with, and most importantly…love.

Hazel and Josh, thank you for allowing me to document your last moments as fiancés and your first moments as Husband and Wife.
